Lolita Moss is an interdisciplinary social scientist with youth development practice experience, as well as social work and developmental psychology training. Her research interests center Black adolescent development, interpersonal violence, and romantic relationships. She received her Bachelor’s degree, Master of Social Work degree, and PhD in Social Work and Psychology from the University of Michigan.

Jasmine Wallace is a Senior Program Manager at MAC. She attended Tulane University Celia Scott Weatherhead School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine where she completed her Master of Public Health degree with a concentration in Epidemiology. Post graduation Jasmine has worked on the Healthy Neighborhoods Project which focuses on the effect of blight remediation on violence in New Orleans. She believes the research that epidemiologists and other data analysts produce should live beyond the inside of academic journals and be the catalyst for meaningful change in society.

Dr. Chanell Haley received her Ph.D from the department of Health and Human Performance at Middle Tennessee State University. Her dissertation centered around barriers and facilitators which impact breastfeeding behaviors of Black mothers. She also holds a Master of Science degree in Biology from Alabama A&M University.

Shermicia is an award-winning media and communications specialist with seven years of experience helping organizations build and maintain a positive relationship with the media and general public. She specializes in digital marketing, content creation, and social media marketing. 

Prior to Tulane, she worked as a public relations consultant on The New MSY project - the grand opening of the new $1 billion Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY) terminal. 

Prior to joining the MAC team, Revonda Darensbourg, MSW, was the core research program manager at the Tulane Prevention Research Center (PRC). Her work focused on the center's core project, Movin’ for LIFE (2014-2019 grant cycle), which saught to improve the weight status of residents in one New Orleans neighborhood compared to residents of a control neighborhood. Prior to joining the Tulane PRC, Revonda worked for Young Audiences of Louisiana as the ExpandEd Director at McDonogh #32 Literacy Charter School.

Amber Tucker began as a Program Coordinator with the Healthy Neighborhoods Project after joining the project to complete her practicum for her Master's degree in Public Health from Louisiana State University. Amber’s research at LSU focused on how transportation and housing access impact health outcomes, particularly for low income mothers. Amber has completed coursework in Clinical Mental Health at Xavier University and earned her Bachelor’s Degree at Smith College with a self designed major, Social Movements and Activism.

Dr. Dovile Vilda is an Assistant Professor and a BIRCWH (Building Interdisciplinary Research Careers in Women's Health) Scholar at the Center, currently examining the impact of fertility treatment on cardiovascular complications during pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period. Her previous work involved examining the role of social determinants and state-level policies in contributing to the higher rates of maternal and infant mortality in the US, as well as examining the societal and policy factors contributing to maternal and child health more broadly.
