Biography

Caitlin Moore is a Senior Program Manager in the Mary Amelia Center for Women's Health Equity Research within the Department of Social, Behavioral, & Population Sciences at the Celia Scott Weatherhead School of Public Health & Tropical Medicine at Tulane University.

In her role, Caitlin manages a diverse portfolio of research projects, overseeing project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, while coordinating communication with external partners and stakeholders. She currently supports an NIH-funded study using legal epidemiology to examine the impacts of state-level economic and socioeconomic policies on families, maternal health, and population health outcomes. Her work includes collecting and synthesizing data to support policy-relevant research. She also plays a key role in developing research protocols, managing IRB and annual reporting processes, and establishing and leading a community advisory board composed of local and national maternal and child health experts. In addition, she collaborates on strategic planning efforts to advance interdisciplinary, community-engaged, and cross-sector approaches to women's health.

Before joining Tulane University, she gained extensive experience in training and workforce capacity building at the National Network of Public Health Institutes, where she managed multiple CDC-funded initiatives and contributed to developing high-quality training programs for the public health workforce nationwide.

Her professional interests include collective impact, community engagement, maternal and family health, workforce development, and public health policy.
