Our work seeks to facilitate capacity building and research to advance equitable health and well-being for women throughout the lifespan. Programs and partnerships aim to remove social and physical environmental barriers to better health for women and include outreach, education, and technical assistance to build capacity of partners working to improve the lives of women.
We take an innovative, multifaceted/multilevel approach to addressing inequities in women’s health across the lifespan, targeting women of all ages, their families and communities. As a center that values being responsive to the community, we recognize that providing health information is only a small part of fostering healthy individuals and communities.
We are enthusiastic about the continuing and planned activities and growth, and are indebted to The Frost Foundation, Ltd., W.K. Kellogg Foundation, Baptist Community Ministries, and our federal sponsors for their support and guidance.
