The Mary Amelia Women’s Health Center at Tulane and the Newcomb College Institute are sponsoring a talk on Wednesday (March 11) by Kevin Swartout, a researcher on violence against women, on the subject of sexual assault on college campuses.

In light of growing concerns about sexual assault on college campuses, the Louisiana Board of Regents has developed the Uniform Policy on Sexual Misconduct, which provides guidelines for handling sexual assault and potential sexual assault victims on public college campuses.

To examine these concerns, the Mary Amelia Douglas-Whited Community Women’s Health Education Center and the” Newcomb College Institute”:http://tulane.edu/newcomb/ at Tulane University have invited Kevin Swartout, an assistant professor at Georgia State University and researcher on violence against women, to discuss the subject of sexual assault on college campuses. read more
