MAC Welcomes a new Communications and Media Specialist


The Mary Amelia Women’s Center (MAC) at Tulane University is excited to welcome our new Communications and Media Specialist our team. Trina Vincent joined the team in December of 2014. She is responsible for coordination of the center’s communications, which includes web presence, production of briefs and reports and printed collateral material. She comes to MAC with over 20 years of communications, marketing, and production experience in the cable industry, as well as in radio and TV broadcasting. Most recently, she worked in higher education utilizing her skills for fund raising and to promote, recruit and retain students garnering awards from the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) and The Council of Advancement & Support of Education for producing video pieces. Proud to be a native New Orleanian, Trina is passionate about women’s issues especially those affecting the immediate region and wants to use her expertise to enhance advocacy and outreach for MAC through social media. She has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications from Xavier University of Louisiana. When not digesting and sharing news and current events, Trina loves developing her graphic abilities by studying new developments in graphic software. She is an avid reader and adores spending time with her husband, three children and a very close-knit extended family.
